City of St. Joseph announce a section of County Line Road to close for ditch repair

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The City of St. Joseph announced that a section of County Line Road will close on Monday, August 31, for ditch repair.

The closure will begin on August 31 and is expected to last until Friday, September 11, weather permitting. The road will reopen temporarily for Labor Day weekend, September 4-6.

The closed area is from 59 Highway to North 23rd Terrace.

During this time, westbound traffic will detour south on North 23rd Terrace to Shamrock Lane and then to Savannah Road. Eastbound traffic will detour north and east on U.S. 59 Highway to U.S. 71 Highway, then south on U.S. 71 Highway.
