Noah Cameron has strong performance in first relief appearance, Royals still fall to Tigers on the road

DETROIT, Mi. (KQTV) - St. Joseph native Noah Cameron had the first relief performance of his MLB career on Friday night as he came in to pitch for Beck Way in the second inning against the Detroit Tigers. Way had given up 2 runs and 3 hits in the 1st.

Cameron had a very strong performance in his relief appearance, striking out 8 batters in 7 innings pitched and only gave up 2 hits and no runs. The Central High School alum just couldn't get any run support as the Royals get just 4 hits in the 2-1 defeat.

Cameron's next scheduled start will be on Thursday, July 30th on the road against the Minnesota Twins at 12:40 pm.

The Royals fall to 43-62 on the season and next play the Tigers on Saturday, July 25th at 12:10 pm.
