MoWest volleyball sweeps Arkansas Tech to begin Griffon Volleyball Invitational

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) - The #10 MoWest volleyball team began its 2026 Holiday Inn Express Griffon Volleyball Invitational Tournament by facing two teams on Friday in the MWSU Fieldhouse.

Friday morning MoWest started with Arkansas Tech and made quick work of the Golden Suns in a 3-0 sweep, (25-17, 25-13, 25-17).

The win brings Mowest to 8-1 on the season and the Griffons will next face Illinois-Springfield at 6 pm Friday evening and then will face McKendree in its final game of the tournament on Saturday, September 12th at 5 pm at the MWSU Fieldhouse.
