Maysville baseball coach Dakota Dunlap picks up 100th career coaching victory

(MAYSVILLE, MO) - Maysville High School baseball coach Dakota Dunlap picked up his 100th career victory this past weekend on Saturday, April 11th.

Dunlap's Wolverines defeated Faith Christian Academy's junior varsity team 6-0 in the WOW Wood Bat Tournament in Faucett.

Dunlap and Maysville now sit at 11-5 on the season. Under his watch, the Wolverines have consistently been one of the best teams in Class 2 over the past few seasons. In 2023, Maysville finished with a 4th place finish at state and then had a second place finish the next season in 2024. Last season Maysville finished 22-6 and lost in the Class 2 State Quarterfinals.

The Wolverines will next host Marceline later on Monday, April 13th at 5 pm and then host Northeast Nodaway on the 14th at 5 pm.
