Noah Cameron strikes out 4 but Kansas City is held to just 4 hits in shutout loss to Yankees

(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - St. Joseph native and Central High School alum Noah Cameron got another start on the mound for the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday night against the New York Yankees in Kauffman Stadium.

Cameron struck out 4 batters but gave up 4 hits and 2 runs to drop his ERA to 4.61 on the season.

The Royals were just held to 4 hits as a team as KC gets shut out 7-0 and gets swept at home by New York. Cameron picks up the loss, he's now 2-4 on the season.

Kansas City drops to 22-34 on the season and next hits the road to play the Texas Rangers for a 3-game weekend series beginning on Friday, May 29th at 7:05 pm.

Cameron's next scheduled start will be on Tuesday, June 2nd at the Cincinnati Reds at 6:10 pm.
