St. Joseph Mustangs fall to St. Joe All-Stars in exhibition game

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) - The St. Joseph Mustangs hosted the St. Joe All-Stars on Wednesday night in an exhibition matchup. The Mustangs had players playing out-of-position on Wednesday and had a lineup of mostly pitchers, the All-Stars would go on to win 7-5.

Lawson High School alum Lane Chapman finished 1-for-3 for the Mustangs, Landon Reith was 1-for-3 with 1 RBI and Owen Foster finished 1-for-4 with 1 RBI.

The Mustangs pitching staff combined to throw 21 strikeouts, 6 came from Plattsburg High School alum Keegan Gudde in 2 innings pitched.

The Mustangs next hit the road to face the North Missouri Nattys on Thursday, July 9th at 7 pm.
