St. Joseph Mustangs outlast Clarinda Athletics at home

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) - The St. Joseph Mustangs baseball team earned a vital 12-10 victory over the Clarinda A's on Thursday in a battle of two of the best teams in the MINK Leaguie.

Bishop LeBlond and Northwest Bearcat alum Frank Gall finished 2-for-4 with 5 RBI for the Mustangs. Lafayette High School alum Brayden Luikart was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and Benton alum Chris Coy was 2-for-2 with 2 RBI.

St. Joseph improves to 21-13 on the season and 18-12 in conference play, the team will next host the Carroll Merchants on Friday, July 17th at 7 pm at Phil Welch Stadium.
