Paul C. Wilson

Judge Paul C. Wilson has served on the Missouri Supreme Court since 2012 and was re-elected by voters in 2014.

Wilson served as Chief Justice from July 2021 to June 2023. He obtained a law degree from the University of Missouri.

Wilson's career spans private practice, state government and judicial service. He previously worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals and the Missouri Supreme Court, served as Deputy Chief for Litigation in the Missouri Attorney General's Office and was a circuit judge in Cole County before joining the state's highest court.

Wilson is a Jefferson City, Missouri, native and comes from a family dedicated to public service. His father was a Cole County Associate Circuit Judge and his mother led Missouri's Maternal, Family and Child Health Division.
