Tracking sunshine for Friday

We ended up with a beautiful day across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri on Thursday. High temperatures in the afternoon reached into the upper 50's and lower 60's with a very light wind. Friday looks to be a very warm day across the area with high temperatures reaching into the upper 60's and lower 70's which is unusually warm for late February. The winds will pick up and with the low humidity there will be an elevated fire risk across the area. We will continue to watch the weekend forecast as Saturday looks to be another great day but Sunday could turn into a day where we see a mixture of rain and snow.
