Tracking a slight warmup on Tuesday

After a very cold start to the week across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri Tuesday will bring a noticeable improvement to our weather. We will see partly cloudy skies across much of the area and that means temperatures will rise into the upper 30's and lower 40's by the afternoon. Temperatures will still be below normal but compared to what we saw to start the week it should feel a little more comfortable.

Winds will pick up during the afternoon hours so it will feel cooler at times so if you are heading out you might want to grab that jacket when you head outside.

The bigger story will be the huge warm-up that will be coming our way by mid week and beyond. After Tuesday's chilly conditions temperatures should jump up to well above normal temperatures.
