Tracking sunshine and record warmth Friday

Above average temperatures and dry skies will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas to finish the work week and start the weekend. Low 80s and mostly clear skies Thursday afternoon will give way to a slow cool-off overnight with lows in the mid to upper 40s and light winds. Sunshine continues Friday with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s, likely tying or breaking a daily record for St. Joseph and surrounding areas. Temperatures warm even more Saturday as highs near 90 degrees and sunshine sticks around!

Tonight: Passing clouds early. Low 46.

Friday: Sunny and warm. High 85.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and toasty. High 89.
