Tracking more rain on Wednesday

Wednesday looks to be a fairly active day across much of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri on Wednesday as we are looking at a number of chances for rain and thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will start off mild in the upper 50's and then in the afternoon we will only see highs in the mid 60's.

The winds will start to pick up across the area as well with south to southeast winds around 10-20 mph with occasional higher gusts by the afternoon.

Showers will be on and off through the morning, but the main focus will be during the afternoon and evening when thunderstorms will become more widespread.
