Tracking a sunny and windy Thursday

After a beautiful stretch of sunshine and comfortable temperatures, we are turning warmer on Thursday. Temperatures will start to climb into the lower 80's by the afternoon and the sunshine will help make it feel a lot warmer.

The winds will start to pick up across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas and we could see winds gust as high as 30 miles per hour. The humidity levels will also start to creep a little bit higher which is the first sign to a weather pattern change.

Most of Thursday stays dry, but don't completely rule out a spotty morning shower or isolated thunderstorm. The better chances for storms hold off until later Friday.
