Tracking t-storm chances, warm and muggy weekend

A warm and muggy airmass will continue to help fuel periodic thunderstorm chances across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas through the rest of the weekend. A few storms may produce gusty winds and hail, although widespread severe weather is not anticipated. Partly cloudy skies and low to mid 80s Saturday afternoon will give way to increasing t-storm chances and lows in the mid to upper 60s late. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will linger early Sunday, before drier skies later in the day and afternoon highs in the mid 80s. A slight chance of thunderstorms sticks around on Monday, followed by a quieter stretch of weather Tuesday and Wednesday with plenty of sunshine and highs well into the 80s.
