Tracking a Warm and Humid Friday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

Friday is shaping up to be a pretty nice end to the workweek across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. We will start the morning mild, with temperatures in the 60s, then warm up quickly through the 70s as we head toward lunchtime.

By Friday afternoon, look for partly sunny skies with a high near 85 degrees. The humidity will be noticeable, so it may feel a little warmer than actual temperature. Winds will generally be out of the south to southeast, helping bring back that warmer and more humid air back into the area.

The good news is that Friday should stay dry, making it a good day to stay outside and enjoy. Friday night we will start to see a few more clouds around and we will see a chance for showers and thunderstorms.
