Tracking Monday’s Warm Up

Mike Bracciano KQ2

If you have been waiting for some cooler fall weather, you are going to have to wait a little longer. We will kick off the work week with temperatures that will feel more like the middle of summer than the middle of October.

Monday morning we will start the day across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri with mostly clear skies. Temperatures will be in the upper 60's and lower 70's which is where we should be for this time of year with our day time highs.

By the afternoon we will see temperatures start to rise into the upper 80s and lower 90s which is very unusual for this time of year. Add into the fact that we will be dealing with some windy conditions with wind gusts out of the southwest at 15 to 30 miles per hour.
