Tracking a Warmer Wednesday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

Wednesday we will see another day of temperatures well above normal. The normal high for this time of year is 62 degrees and we will be some 20 degrees above that on Wednesday. So another unusually warm late October day across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas, with high temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

We will start the morning with a few clouds around the area and temperatures will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. There will be a slight chance for a scattered shower or even a thunderstorm in the late morning but the better chances hold off until later.

By the afternoon we will break out into sunshine and that will help us start to warm back up into the upper 70s and lower 80s. A front will start to make its way toward us giving us a chance for some showers possibly after midnight and especially the counties to the north.
