Tracking a mild Wednesday with a mix of sunshine

Fall-like weather continues Wednesday across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70s.

Dry weather sticks around Thursday, though clouds will increase ahead of the next system. Rain chances return Thursday night and increase Friday, especially across areas north of Interstate 70 and farther northwest.

Rain chances climb to 50% to 70% Saturday, with the best chances west of Interstate 35. Showers could linger into Sunday as moisture remains in place.

Severe weather chances currently appear low this weekend, with little instability expected.

Temperatures remain seasonable through the weekend before warmer weather could return early next week.
