Tracking a cooler Tuesday & rain chances

Good morning and happy Tuesday!

Temperatures are starting off in the upper 50s and low 60s this morning, making for a warmer start to the day. Highs will reach the upper 60s to low 70s this afternoon, about 10 degrees cooler than Monday but still above seasonal averages.

A few scattered showers are possible throughout the morning, with additional isolated rain chances developing this afternoon and tonight. We could see a brief break in the rain Wednesday before chances begin increasing again Wednesday night into Thursday.

Rain chances will continue through the end of the week and into the weekend, with additional showers possible Sunday, Monday and even into early next week. While widespread, consistent rainfall is not expected, a few heavier downpours cannot be ruled out.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy today, although a few breaks of sunshine are possible. Clouds will return Wednesday before sticking around for much of Thursday and Friday. Cloud cover and rain chances will continue into Saturday, including Halloween evening.

For trick-or-treaters, temperatures will be in the 60s Saturday evening, with about a 30% chance of rain. Keep an eye on the forecast as we get closer to Halloween, as a few showers could affect outdoor plans.

As we turn the calendar to November on Sunday, temperatures will remain unseasonably warm, with highs in the low 70s — about 10 degrees above average. Rain chances will stick around Sunday and Monday as this unsettled weather pattern continues into the start of next week.
