Tracking a cool & chilly Thursday

Abigail McCluskey

Good morning and happy Thursday! It’s another cool and chilly start across the region, with temperatures back in the low to middle 40s this morning. Feels-like temperatures will remain in the upper 30s throughout the day.

We’ll stay on the cool side once again today, with highs only reaching the middle 50s. Clouds will gradually increase throughout the day, bringing partly to mostly cloudy skies by the afternoon and evening. There are a few chances for an isolated shower or some drizzle throughout the day, but widespread rainfall is not expected for your Thursday.

Heading into Friday, temperatures will cool once again, with overnight lows in the upper 30s Friday morning. Highs will only reach the low 50s Friday afternoon. Friday night will remain chilly, with temperatures potentially dipping near freezing, making for a cold night under the Friday night football lights.

We’ll begin to slowly warm back up heading into the weekend, with highs in the upper 50s Saturday and low 60s Sunday. More sunshine returns Saturday and Sunday, with mostly sunny skies expected to stick around into early next week.

Temperatures will continue to climb, reaching the middle to upper 60s by the middle of next week. Rain chances remain low through the extended forecast.
