Tracking a mostly sunny and mild start to the week

Mostly sunny skies and mild afternoons will continue gracing the Mid-Missouri River Valley to start the work week with temperatures running 5 to 10 degrees above average Monday and Tuesday. Mainly clear skies Sunday evening will give way to patchy fog overnight with lows falling into the upper 30s to low 40s. Partly cloudy conditions early Monday will be followed up by afternoon sunshine and highs in the upper 60s with light southwest breezes. Tuesday offers a repeat performance with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s. A series of cold fronts brings a cool-off mid to late week, with rain chances remaining slim to none for the next 5 to 7 days.
