…Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri…

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Linn and Livingston
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Chillicothe.

* WHEN…Until late Friday night.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water. At 35.0 feet,
U.S. Highway 65 south of Chillicothe is threatened by flood water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 32.0 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.7 feet
early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 35.7
feet on 06/09/2010.
