Flood Warning issued May 18 at 8:27PM CDT until May 22 at 5:20PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri…

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Agency.

* WHEN…Until Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of
Agency.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 23.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.2 feet
Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
afternoon.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
