Flood Warning issued May 18 at 8:46PM CDT until May 20 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas…

Stranger Creek near Tonganoxie affecting Leavenworth County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Stranger Creek near Tonganoxie.

* WHEN…From Tuesday morning to Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Low-lying farmland along the creek floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 3.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 23.7 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
afternoon.
– Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
