Flood Warning issued May 18 at 8:51PM CDT until May 22 at 8:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Linn and Livingston
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Chillicothe.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 35.0 feet, U.S. Highway 65 south of Chillicothe is
threatened by flood water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 32.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.1 feet
tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 35.1
feet on 04/06/2017.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
