…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Missouri River at Boonville affecting Boone, Cooper, Moniteau and
Howard Counties.

Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Jackson, Ray and Lafayette
Counties.

Missouri River at Glasgow affecting Chariton, Saline and Howard
Counties.

Missouri River at Waverly affecting Lafayette, Saline and Carroll
Counties.

Missouri River At Miami affecting Chariton, Saline and Carroll
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Napoleon.

* WHEN…From Wednesday afternoon to Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Low-lying areas unprotected by levees begin
to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 17.5 feet early Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
