Grand River near Gallatin affecting Daviess and Livingston
Counties.

Grand River near Pattonsburg affecting Daviess and Gentry Counties.

Grand River near Sumner affecting Chariton, Linn, Livingston and
Carroll Counties.

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Linn and Livingston
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Sumner.

* WHEN…Until late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…At 37.0 feet, State Highway 139 floods a half mile east
of Sumner.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 36.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.2 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
