Flood Warning issued May 19 at 8:15PM CDT until May 21 at 12:42PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

102 River at Maryville affecting Nodaway and Andrew Counties.

102 River at Rosendale affecting Andrew and Buchanan Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…102 River at Rosendale.

* WHEN…Until Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, State Route 48 is flooded on the east and
west sides of town which prevents travel in or out of town.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:44 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.5 feet
just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
