Flood Warning issued May 19 at 9:01AM CDT until May 23 at 8:55PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River at Sharps Station.

* WHEN…Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, Backwater from the Platte River floods
Highway KK along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles
east of Highway B.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
evening to a crest of 28.6 feet Friday morning. It will then fall
below flood stage Friday evening.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
