* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Northwestern Harrison County in north central Missouri…
Northern Andrew County in northwestern Missouri…
Atchison County in northwestern Missouri…
Gentry County in northwestern Missouri…
Holt County in northwestern Missouri…
Nodaway County in northwestern Missouri…
Worth County in northwestern Missouri…

* WHEN…Until 930 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
continue to have high water due to excess runoff from earlier
rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 922 AM CDT, Flooding continues along some area streams.
Between 1 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen this week.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Maryville, Albany, Tarkio, Stanberry, Mound City, Rock Port,
Grant City, Fairfax, Burlington Junction, Hopkins, Ridgeway,
Ravenwood, Maitland, Eagleville, New Hampton, Skidmore, Craig,
Irena, Athelstan and Barnard.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
