Flood Warning issued October 1 at 3:15AM CDT until October 2 at 10:13AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

102 River at Maryville affecting Nodaway and Andrew Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…102 River at Maryville.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, The east bank of the river floods. Water
also approaches the village of Arkoe.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
this morning and continue falling to 7.6 feet early Tuesday
morning.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
