Flood Warning issued October 1 at 3:17AM CDT until October 6 at 4:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Platte City.

* WHEN…From Friday afternoon to late Monday night.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Cropland near State Highway 92 near Platte
City begins to flood. At 22.0 feet, Flooding occurs at Humphreys
Access Area which is located 5 miles downstream from Platte City.
300 acres of pasture are also flooded. At 25.0 feet, Water overtops
1st Street in Tracy, Missouri.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 6.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 23.7 feet early Sunday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
