Chamber to host forum featuring SJSD School Board candidates
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce announced it will feature candidates running for two open seats on the St. Joseph School District's Board of Education in a forum at its next Public Affairs Coffee.
The forum will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at the Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center, located at 1201 N. Woodbine Road.
The event will be moderated by Kevin Walkman of Eagle Media.
The last forum at the Chamber's Public Affairs Coffee event will be for St. Joseph City Council candidates and the finalists in the mayoral race.
The final forum will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, also at Stoney Creek.
All candidates for all of the races have been invited to participate in their respective forum.
Registration and a $15 fee for Chamber members are required to attend to cover the cost of breakfast. The cost for the general public is $20.
