Woman seriously injured in Livingston County crash

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- One woman was seriously injured after she slid on eastbound U.S. Highway 36 Sunday evening.

The crash occurred as the 37-year-old woman, driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue, was eastbound on Highway 36 near the Grand River Bridge, just three miles west of Chillicothe, Missouri.

The woman slid on the roadway and struck a guardrail. The vehicle came to a controlled stop facing north on its wheels, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report.

The woman, from Brookfield, Missouri, was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was transported by Chillicothe Emergency Services to Liberty Hospital.
