Daily’s Premium Meats announces hiring is underway as it continues expansion in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Daily's Premium Meats said it will bring over 100 new jobs after it recently announced its St. Joseph facility expansion.

The company is now accepting applications for roles in processing, packaging, maintenance, quality assurance, warehousing and frontline supervision.

The positions support the major production expansion currently underway for the St. Joseph plant, which is scheduled for completion on July 1, 2026.

"We're excited to open the first wave of new jobs tied to our St. Joseph expansion," General Manager Joe Richmond said. "Daily's has deep roots in this community, and this growth allows us to create even more opportunities for local families while continuing to meet nationwide demand for out high-quality bacon and smoked meats.

The St. Joseph facility has operated since 2016 and plays a role in supporting national retail and foodservice customers.

The expansion will increase production capacity, modernize equipment and enhance overall efficiency, which would bring long-term economic value to St. Joseph and the northern Kansas City region, according to a news release from Daily's.

The newly expanded facility is expected to help strengthen the local economy through job creation, increased supply needs and long-term investment in the local workforce.

Daily's said it will also release additional details about job fairs, hiring event and application windows in the coming months.
