Two vehicle wreck on South Belt Highway causes minor injuries

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- An SUV failed to yield while turning onto eastbound 36 and collided with another driver, according to the St. Joseph Police Department.

The wreck occurred around 5:30 pm on Sunday and delayed traffic on the Belt Highway for about 45 minutes. SJPD reported that one driver sustained minor injuries but refused medical assistance.

Law enforcement continues to investigate the incident.
