MoWest to host small business summit to celebrate National Small Business Week

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV)-- The Small Business Development Center at Missouri Western State University will host a Small Business Summit to celebrate National Small Business Week

The Summit will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, at the Houlne Center for Convergent Technology.

The free event is an opportunity for entrepreneurs and small business owners to build their financial know-how, connect with local lenders and explore helpful business resources. 

Attendees can take part in hands-on QuickBooks training, join a live Q&A with local bankers and lenders and learn about the free advising, training and support offered through the Small Business Development Center.  

The goal is to give small businesses the tools and connections they need to grow.
