ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Family Guidance Center for Behavioral Healthcare will host the Missouri Department of Social Services' Transformation of Rural Community Health (ToRCH) Care Roadshow.

The stop will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, at the Family Guidance Center's Community Room, located at 724 N. 22nd St.

The ToRCH Care roadshow invites community members to participate in an in-person conversation about the challenges and opportunities facing rural healthcare systems.

Seating is limited, and registration is required for all in-person events.

The program is a national investment aimed at reshaping how healthcare is delivered in rural communities. The St. Joseph stop will bring together local partners, providers and residents to discuss the future of rural health in Buchanan County.

Organizations can register no more than two representatives. Attendees will receive a confirmation email with event details. Virtual events are also available with no registration limits.
