Buchanan County Clerk reports voter turnout numbers

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, a little more than 9,000 Buchanan County voters have cast a ballot in the Aug. 4 Missouri Primary Election.

Buchanan County Clerk Mary Baack-Garvey provided the voter turnout numbers that includes 9,016 voters.

The 3 p.m. voter turnout update sits at 16.6% of the total Buchanan County voters. There are 54,312 registered voters in the county.

As of 3 p.m., the polling location with the most turnout is Central Christian Church with a total of 1,426 voters.

The 11 a.m. voter turnout was sitting at 8.1% or 4,384 out of 54,312 voters cast ballots.
