ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation (NWMEF) Board of Directors announced Aaron Baker as the organization's new facilitator.

NWMEF provides free and confidential business assistance to entrepreneurs and existing businesses throughout the Northwest Missouri region.

As the new facilitator, Baker will work directly with entrepreneurs and small business owners across the region, helping connect them to resources, relationships and guidance needed to start, strengthen and grow their businesses.

The facilitator role serves as the heart of NWMEF's work in the region, building relationships with entrepreneurs and helping them navigate the many opportunities and challenges that come with business ownership.

“We are excited to welcome Aaron to NWMEF and look forward to the experience, energy, and perspective he will bring to the organization,” said Joe Hegeman, chair of the NWMEF Board of Directors. “Strong relationships are at the center of the NWMEF model, and we believe Aaron will be a great resource for entrepreneurs throughout the region.”

NWMEF also said it appreciates the outgoing facilitator, Adam Summers, for his service and dedication to the organization.

“We are grateful for Adam’s commitment to NWMEF and the entrepreneurs he has worked alongside,” Hegeman said. “We wish him continued success as he focuses on the growth of his own business and are excited to see what comes next for him.”
