Rock Port man in custody on harassment, child pornography charges

ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- A Rock Port man is behind bars on alleged 1st-degree harassment and possession of child pornography charges.

On July 28, the Atchison County Sheriff's Office received a complaint of harassment. Deputies began an investigation into the matter.

After investigating, a Probable Cause statement was submitted to the Atchison County Prosecutor's Office, resulting in a warrant being issued.

Luke Seiter, 39, of Rock Port, Missouri, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Aug. 26. He is being held without bond.

According to a probable cause statement, Seiter has been employed as a paraprofessional working with disabled children.

Seiter currently does not have a court date set in Atchison County, law enforcement said the investigation is active.
