Savannah surveyor appointed to Missouri Board

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KQTV) -- Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe announced eight gubernatorial appointments to various boards and commissions, one of which was a Savannah man.

Franklin "Shane" Terhune was appointed to the Board of Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, Professional Landscape Architects and Licensed Interior Designers.

According to a news release, Terhune has nearly 48 years of experience as a land surveyor and is the owner of Terhune Surveying and Mapping.

Terhune also previously served as the elected Andrew County Surveyor and as a member and president of the Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors.

He is currently a member of the Metropolitan Community College Survey Advisory Board.

Terhune is a Savannah High School graduate.
