ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Mosaic Life Care is partnering with The Human Bean for the 11th annual "Coffee for a Cure" fundraiser to benefit local breast cancer patients.

The event will take place from 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at The Human Bean, located at 4414 Commons Drive.

All proceeds and tips collected during the timeframe will support the Mosaic Life Care Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.

To maximize the impact, the Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary will match every dollar raised through The Human Bean during the event.

The Breast Cancer Patient Fund helps provide mammograms, education and post-diagnosis support and financial assistance during treatment.

In 2025, Coffee for a Cure generated $19,294.43 in sales and tips during the event. Combined with the Auxiliary's contribution, the fundraiser provided a total impact of $38,588.86 for local breast cancer patients.

Over the past decade, the tradition has raised more than $210,000 for the assistance fund.
