Weekend 2 Do’s: Golf for a cause, princess tea party and Fall Maker’s Market

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- As we get further into the fall season, there's plenty to do over the weekend.

If you're looking for something to do, we've got you covered!

On Friday, Oct. 9, golf fans can swing for a good cause at 11 a.m. on Friday at The One Invitational. The charity golf tournament, sponsored by Realty ONE Group Cornerstone, will take place at Fairview Golf Course.

All proceeds from the event will go to support Sisters of Solace, which provides resources to women who experience abuse and trauma leading to homelessness, mental health issues and addiction.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, fair maidens and princesses across the Northwest Missouri region are invited to attend a Princess Tea Party at the Ruby Theatre, located at 615 S. 10th St.

Hosted by the Robidoux Resident Theatre, two 90-minute sessions will be available at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Attendees can sip on tea, enjoy some dancing, reading and participate in a crowning ceremony!

Anyone looking to partake in some fall shopping can attend Savannah's Third Annual Fall Makers Market, also on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1401 U.S. Highway 71 BUS in Savannah, Missouri.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., attendees can enjoy some homemade, hand-crafted and homegrown products from about 50 local vendors!

Orrick Acres will also have their petting zoo available from 10 a.m. to noon.
