YWCA calls for sponsors, nominations for 2026 Women of Excellence Awards Luncheon and Fundraiser
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The YWCA of St. Joseph is looking for nominations and sponsors for its 2026 Women of Excellence Awards Luncheon and Fundraiser.
The luncheon, which will take place on Thursday, June 18, will feature emcee Jennifer Milbourne, the owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics.
The guest speaker at the event will be KQ2 Hometown This Morning Anchor and Missouri Missouri America 2025, Courtney Rowe.
The YWCA is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the awards ceremony.
Women nominated for seven awards are honored at the luncheon. Those awards are:
- Employer of Excellence
- Entrepreneur of Excellence
- Emerging Leader
- Woman in the Workplace
- Woman in Workplace Leadership
- Woman in volunteerism
- Future Leader
Completed nominations can be emailed to WOE@ywcasj.org or dropped off no later than March 20 at the YWCA St. Joseph, located at 304 N. 8th St.
The organization is also calling for sponsors who can help in numerous ways. All funds raised will directly sustain the shelter, advocacy and critical support services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
