City of Amazonia under Boil Advisory due to water tower maintenance

AMAZONIA, Mo. (KQTV) -- The City of Amazonia announced it is under a Boil Advisory until work is completed on its water tower.

All Amazonia Waterworks customers may experience low water pressure.

The water tower will be down for scheduled maintenance and repair, including a tower inspection.

Work began at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 5, but the City did not detail when it would be completed.

The City also said it would keep residents informed as more information is received.
