SJSD board of education to hold a special work session on March 16

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph School District Board of Education will hold a special work session to discuss topics consisting of the 2026-27 workday schedule, a partnership with Missouri Western State University and revisions to the district's salary schedule.

The work session will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 16, at 3401 Renick St.

MoWest and the district have agreed to an educational partnership that would offer tuition discounts on a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs.  

The discounts would be available to full-time district employees, as well as the spouses and dependents of full-time employees of partnering organizations. 

District administration will also provide an update on the ongoing district reorganization process.
