Savannah woman dead in Andrew County ATV crash

ANDREW COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- A Savannah, Missouri, woman is dead after a crash in Andrew County Wednesday night.

The crash occurred around 10:54 p.m. at County Road 396, just East of County Road 397, two miles southwest of Amazonia, Missouri.

A 51-year-old male driver from Oregon, Missouri, of a 2017 Polaris RZR was southwest on County Road 396 when he traveled off the west side of the roadway, struck the ground and overturned.

The 41-year-old Savannah woman was a passenger in the ATV.

The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side facing North.

Both occupants were wearing a seat belt. The driver suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

The woman was transported by Andrew County EMS to Mosaic Life Care.
