inspireU to host Easter Family Fun Week

File | KQ2

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Children ages five and under will have free general admission to inspireU's Family Fun Week.

"Transforming the historic Plymouth building into a space designed entirely for children is a remarkable investment in our community's future. I sponsored free admission because of the institutions that shaped my own childhood. Free admission helps more families, especially those with young children. We need safe, creative spaces for young children to set up the stage for success. inspireU encourages imagination, exploration and family interaction," said Stacey Hill with S.A. Simpson Trust.

From March 21 to 22, attendees will be able to experience a:

  • Free-with-Admission program offered twice: Spring Rainbow Rain Sticks
  • Family Fun Program (a paid event): Do-It_Yourself Sensory Dough in spring colors
  • Pictures with the Easter Bunny from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 22.

From March 23 to 26, inspireU will feature Easter-themed weekly programs, including Music and Movement, Story Time and Sensory Explorers

From March 27 to 28, inspireU will feature other free events:

  • Free-with-Admission program offered twice: Spring Rainbow Rain Sticks
  • Family Fun Program (a paid event): Tool Time from 4 to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 27
  • Pictures with the Easter Bunny from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 29
