ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Allied Arts Council invites the community to take part is the annual Beer Walk for the Arts, featuring craft beer and local art.

Participants will be able to stroll through a curated route of local homes in the Fairleigh Place historic neighborhood, sampling a wide variety of craft beers while enjoying original works by artists.

The one-day celebration is designed for those interested in culture and creativity, while sipping on some drinks.

The Beer Walk for the Arts directly benefits the Arts Fund, which provides support for local arts organizations, programs and initiatives across the community. Every ticket purchased helps fuel arts education, public art, performances and exhibitions across St. Joseph.

"This event is about bringing people together and supporting the arts while experiencing them in a fun approachable way, " said Brooke McBride, director of Strategic Communications for the Allied Arts Council. "It's a favorite for a reason, and it sells our quickly every year."

Tickets are limited and expected to sell out, according to a news release from the Allied Arts Council.
